The construction of Sultan Suleiman Bridge, began in 1565. The statue of Mimar Sinan can be seen at the beginning of the bridge, which consists of 28 arches, 635 meters long and 7 meters wide. The caravanserais near the bridge is also one of the works that reveal the genius of Mimar Sinan. The heating system is connected to the bridge through pipes. Mimar Sinan demonstrated an example of architectural intelligence far ahead of his time by preventing the bridge from freezing during the winter months thanks to the heat that formed.
