The construction of the Beykoz Mecidiye Pavilion as a gift to Sultan Abdülmecid began in 1845 by the Egyptian ruler Muhammad Ali Pasha. Said Pasha, who became wali of the ward after the death of the wali in 1849, continued building the ward and completed it in 1854 and handed over the gift to its owner. This place was used by members of the palace, especially in the summer months or to entertain guests. It consists of two floors, a drop-down floor was added to the middle section. The area of the land on which the pavilion is located is about 70 thousand square meters, and there is a whole paradise with many trees and flowers. In addition to the pavilion, on the territory there are mountain pools, 10 pools and 4 fountains.
