Ortakoy Square, equipped with original examples of Ottoman civil architecture in the 19th century, is an open-air museum. Many historical buildings such as Ortakoy Mosque, one of the emblematic buildings of Istanbul, fountains and Ayios Fokas Church are located in and around the square. In the square there are street vendors, cafes and restaurants where you can taste street flavors such as chestnut kebabs, corn or tea. The square offers unique views of the mosque and the July 15 Martyrs Bridge, and is the perfect place to immortalize this wonderful view and take a picture.
