The place where the pavilions were located, was known as the vineyards of Haji Hussein Agha because it belonged to Haji Hussein Agha in the eighteenth century. This is the third sultan. Ahmed arranged it as Hisbah. In the middle of the 19th century, Sultan Abdülmecid wanted to build pavilions here and construction began. It consists of two buildings, the Concert and the Mait Palace. The ceremonial pavilion is the main building. Today, the General Pavilion operates as a museum, and Might Kiosk operates as a restaurant-café.
