Haydarpaşa Train Station

Haydarpaşa Train Station, one of the most important historical symbols of the region. The construction of the station began on May 30, 1906 and opened in 1908. The 1917 fire and the 1979 tanker disaster caused various damages to the station. The 2010 station fire caused extensive damage to the stations roof. The station is Istanbuls gateway to Anatolia, and one of the rare architectural elements worth seeing with its noble position.
