The Green Mosque is one of the important buildings in Bursa, and one of the most attractive places for tourists with its architectural appearance. Bursa, which was the first settlement point of the Ottoman Empire, is very rich in terms of historical buildings. The Green Mosque, built by Chalabi Muhammad Han by the architect Haji Iwaz Pasha, was completed in 1919. The mosque is designed in an inverted T-shape, and takes its name from the green tiles used to build its domes. Of course, these tiles have not survived to this day.
