Mudanya Region Museum, dating back to the end of the nineteenth century, was opened in 1937 under the supervision of the municipality of Mudanya and transferred to the Directorate General of Antiquities and Museums in 1959. The Armistice of Mudanya was signed in this house, which is the first sign of the political success of the Turkish National Assembly Major. The house is also the place where the Ankara government headed by Mr. Kemal Ataturk is accepted as the sole representative of the Turkish people. It opened to visitors on October 10, 2014, the 92nd anniversary of the Armistice of Mudanya.
