The bridge, which was completed in 1969, was built by a merchant named Abdul Salibi. It was originally built with twelve eyes, but both ends are underground. The bridge, which is 64 meters long and 4.75 meters wide, was restored after 1978 and closed to traffic. It still maintains its unique structure among the historical bridges in Bursa.
