The horse farm is the largest well-established agricultural project in Turkey. The place, which the Turkish Grand National Assembly converted into a horse farm in 1926, dates back to the Ottoman period. The Tegem Karakabi Horse Farm, which was established to meet the needs of animal products for horses and palaces, focused on the production of Thoroughbred Arabian horses as of 1926 and was successful. Since 1983, seeds of breeding animals, sunflower, corn and forage crops have been cultivated. Today, the horse ranch, which hosts the largest British thoroughbred racehorses, can hold a total of 790 horses. Horses graze in a large field surrounded by tubes.
