A historic church famous for its construction between 1846-1870, it is an important part of Medanias cultural mosaic. The church, which was used by the Turks as a mosque between 1922-1980, was treated and destroyed several times. The bell tower, which was used as a minaret by Muslims for a while, was later demolished and a minaret was built in its place. The church continues to offer visitors a visual feast with its wood ornamentation, stone cross sign, engraving technique, ornaments, and original stained glass.
