The museum, which is a source of pride for the city of Bursa, not only depicts the conquest, but also the transformation from the periods of the emirate to the global Ottoman Empire. The mission of the museum is to revive the conquest of Bursa and convey the process that took place after it came under Ottoman rule. The invasion of Bursa was reflected in every detail in the 360-degree structure. With this feature, it took its place in the lists as the largest panoramic museum in the world. The foundations of the museum were laid on September 15, 2015, and opened to visitors on November 1, 2018. The official opening took place on February 15, 2019. During construction of the museum, minimal energy consumption was targeted and the green building was shaped.
