During the Seljuk period, this was considered a place that hosted all kinds of collective traditions, from bidding farewell to soldiers to a wedding procession. Built in 1222 by the Seljuk ruler Alaeddin Keykubat, the bridge is located on the Ankara Stream, through which the old Baghdad trade route passes, as one of the strongest witnesses in the citys history. The bridge, built of basalt stone, has seven pointed arches. If we talk about the dimensions of the bridge, then it is 77 meters long and 7 meters wide.
