Malekoy train station in the area is one of the places that played a major role in the Battle of Sakarya Beached Batli. During the war, the station was among the places used as a base. The station played a major role in meeting the various needs of the army, especially with regard to health. The station was converted into a museum in 1964 and began receiving visitors and in 2008. In the museum is a memorial to 5,713 soldiers martyred in the war, a locomotive from 1897 that was in use during the war, a wagon from 1909 and sections in which various objects are displayed.
