Kocatepe Mosque is the largest mosque in Ankara

We are in a structure that resembles both the Selimiye Mosque and the Sultan Ahmed Mosque. Kocatepe Mosque is a historical monument that reflects classic Ottoman architecture in its decoration and uses all tools such as tiles, marble, yellow metal and golden leaves. We can say that the mosque has 16th century aesthetics. Construction of the mosque began in 1967, but after 20 years the Turkish religious establishment was completed in 1987.
