The Bahram Pasha Mosque, among Mimar Sinans works, is one of the most impressive buildings in Diyarbakir. It was built between 1564 and 1572 entirely of cut stone. The mosque draws special attention with its architectural details and decorations, for this reason it is the richest building in terms of stonework in the city, the mihrab and minbar of the mosque, which have a magnificent structure, are of the same degree of meticulous workmanship.
