Ziya Kukalb Museum The two-story building, which was built using basalt stone in 1806, is the home where the writer and sociologist Zia Kukalb was born in 1876, Zia Kukalbs family moved into the house in 1824, and after his death, it was converted into a museum in 1956 at the request of the Ministry of Tourism, contains the property and documents of the famous author. You can see the beautiful example of the pool iwan in Diyarbakir Houses. The museum, which receives thousands of tourists every year, was built on the basis of ethnic houses in Diyarbakir. It was damaged during the events of 2014, its library was destroyed, in 2016, it was restored.
