Kursunlu Mosque, one of the historical buildings under the protection of UNESCO, is one of the oldest historical monuments in the region of Tyre, the mosque that has undergone restoration work as a result of the fire is also known as the Fatih Pasha Mosque, it was built between 1516 and 1520 by Beylikli Mehmet Pasha, the first ruler appointed Diyarbakir by the Ottoman Empire. It is called Kursunlu Mosque because of the bullets that cover its dome, there are 4 small domes around the main dome, the last place of worshipers in the mosque is built with seven domes.
