Chitin Kaya Bridge in Bafra

Chitin Kaya Bridge, built in 1937, is one of the first Republican era structures to have symbolic value for the city. The concrete bridge is 250 m long and consists of 7 pieces. Each arc-shaped plot has 9 vertical columns and the bridge floor is covered with concrete paving stone. During a marriage ceremony, crossing the bridge on foot is an indispensable tradition for couples.
