Aziz Tigla, raised on the teachings of Saint Paul, is one of the missionaries who made efforts to spread Christianity around Mersin and Konya. At the age of seventeen, he devoted himself to spreading the Christian religion. He had been hiding in a cave under great pressure in the area during his lifetime. The cave continued to exist as a secret church until AD 312, when Christianity was liberated, and then turned into an underground church. It is believed that he disappeared in the cave when the pagans attacked him for murder, after which the Christians considered the cave sacred.
