Heaven and Hell Cave, the pits located in the Silvi area of Mersin consist of two sewers formed as a result of roof collapse due to erosion, measuring 250 by 110 m and with a depth of 70 m. BC At the entrance to the cave there is a chapel built with rectangular stones from the fifth century. From the inscription on the door at the entrance, there is information that it was built by a religious person named Paul in the name of the Virgin. The Temple of Zeus in another corner of the jug of heaven belongs to the Hellenistic era. The names of 130 religious men who served in the Hellenistic and Roman periods are written on the stones on the north wall of the temple. The temple was converted into a church during the Christian era. It is not possible to enter the cave because its outer edges are concave.
