Tarsus Waterfalls, similar to the Manavgat Waterfall in Antalya at first glance, the waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Mersin. The waterfall, which was formed as a result of the Bardan River flowing from a 5-meter-high cliff, was used as a cemetery during the Roman era in previous years. You will see the ancient stones that you can come across around the waterfall. These stones were damaged by the waterfall stream that flowed over the years. The reason for the presence of the tombs in the water was to change the direction of the river so that the city would not be flooded with water, and it would pass through part of the Roman tombs. There is also a statue of Karagolan inside the waterfall, the reason for this comes from the traditional Karagolan poetry evenings that take place every year. While watching the image of water flowing from the heights, you can dine and drink a cold drink at the restaurants set up around the waterfall.
