Although it was converted into a mosque during the era of the Islamic countries, it served as a mosque until recently, the monastery also contains 3 or 4 small churches. The monastery attracts attention with its impressive stonework and architecture, the building, with its historical and architectural features, was registered by the Ministry of Culture in 1987 and was accepted as an immovable cultural heritage that must be protected.
