The road to the church is so interesting that you can enjoy the lush nature of Artvin. It is believed to have been built in the Middle Ages due to the architectural structure of the church, it dates back nearly a thousand years and is believed to have been built in the 10th or 11th century. The building, which had actively served for many years, was abandoned in the sixteenth century.
