Takali Monastery, a monastery with great architecture and historical significance in Artvin, can be called a very large complex due to its architectural structure and features, which includes many areas from seminar room to small church. It consists of 4 main buildings in total, also known as the four churches in the area. Although it is not known how many years and who was built due to the lack of an inscription on the monastery, it is believed that the Baghrat people who ruled the region in the 9th century built it. The church is the largest surviving church in the area.
