According to the information in the inscription, it was built in 1567 by Kos Khusrau Pasha, who was the ruler of Van at the time, the architect Sinan preferred to build this mosque using stones, bricks and arches, the center of the mosque is square plan, the mosque is also known as Kursunlu Mosque between People, the building was restored in 1992, the restoration work was carried out in the building in 2013 by the Regional Directorate of Enterprises in Bitlis.
