The Hamidiya Mosque was first built in 1910 but later turned into ruins due to neglect. In the mosque, which was redesigned by an Azerbaijani architect, the descriptions in verse 22 of Surat Al-Baqara were taken into account and shapes of nature were drawn on the walls of the mosque in a way that resembles heaven. Accordingly, at the same time the inscription of God on the outer wall of the mosque attracts attention. The mosque has a completely different design from other mosques in the city.
