The castle was built at the request of the Iranian Shah, Tastin Alishan, who came to the region in the year 940 AH. Suleiman the Magnificent seized the castle, located on a hill overlooking Lake Van, and came under the Ottoman protection, which was run by Zal Pasha, it had 38 towers according to historical information, But the constellations have not been able to reach this day.
