Lake Eğirdir, known as the Seven Colored Lakes, is the second largest freshwater lake in Turkey; It has a natural drinking water basin and is of international importance in terms of biodiversity. Of the 454 species of birds in Turkey, 225 live around Lake Egirdir. Therefore, fishing, farming and meeting drinking water needs are the main sources of income.
