Isparta Museum

Isparta Museum, at the end of 2008, there were a total of 17,976 artifacts, of which 2,953 were archaeological, 2352 ethnographic, 12,671 coins, the existing exhibition halls consist of four main departments: archeology, treasury, ethnography, and carpet. In the Hall of Antiquities, artifacts and ceramics from the Hellenistic and Roman periods are in glass showcases. In the hall of the Coins, there are Byzantine coins and coins from Venice, Islamic coins of the Abbasids, Sassanids, Buffet, Gulari, Seljuks, Mamluks, Ilkhanids, Timurids and Ottomans are also displayed in historical order. In the hall of ethnographic works, a mannequin for a woman making dough, and juice, there are lamps, wick scissors and healing bowls, mens and womens clothing, accessories, kitchen and coffee traditions, weighing instruments, weapons and ceremonies, which are generally on display from the second half of the nineteenth century and the twentieth century. . In the Carpet Hall, there are rare examples of carpets woven in carpet centers of antiquity. In the gardens at the front and back of the museum, tombs of the Pisidia region from Roman times and stone artifacts from different periods are on display.
