Lake Beysehir was formed, as a result of the filling of a tectonic depression with water. It is the third largest lake after Lake Van and Salt Lake, and fulfills the water needs of the Central Anatolian region. It also benefits from the waters of Lake Beyşehir to irrigate agricultural areas. Beyşehir is one of the fishing areas. In the park, you can practice water and mountain sports and fishing, and there are beaches.
