The museum, which was inaugurated in 2001, provides information on olive oil production which is primarily a factory. The production stages of materials such as olive oil and soap made with olive oil are included. Upon entering the building, you will see containers in the shape of amphora to protect the olive oil. Since olive oils are easy to lose their color, flavor and aroma when preserved, they are stored in narrow containers with a narrow mouth, wide in the center, and at the bottom to collect residue to prevent contact with air. There is a cauldron that you can see from the top and bottom of the museum, which was built on two floors. The kettle is used to produce soap, and a substance called soap soda, which allows olive oil to solidify by reaction, is added to the boiled olive oil, and this soap is poured into containers. Soap that was left to cool and dry was corrected with correcting tools called rasp cut with knives, sealed and primed.
