Manyas Bird Sanctuary is a national park that the European Council granted a first-class diploma in 1975. It is possible to see dozens of migratory bird species from Africa to Europe and Asia in the park, which was established on an area of 24 thousand hectares. In particular, pelicans, herons, cormorants, wild geese, wild ducks and other songbirds house large brood colonies built on trees and reeds in the garden. You also have the opportunity to observe endoscopically from the bird watchtower at Lake Manias Bird, where 266 species of birds live in total.
