Although the exact year of the school’s establishment is not known, the prevailing opinion is that it was built in the thirteenth century, it is considered that it was built by Hundi Khatun, the daughter of Aladdin Keykubat, one of the Seljuk sultans, or Padisha Khatun, one of the Ilkhanid dynasties, and for this reason it is also known as a Khatun school, located On a very large rectangular area measuring 35 x 46 meters, the two-storey building consists of four iwans, containing nineteen rooms on the ground floor and 18 rooms on the second floor, the symbols of the Central Asian Turks such as the two-headed eagle and the serpent are engraved on the door The crown, the inscription of God on the turquoise plaque highlights its minaret, the building was used as an armory and barracks during the Murad period, is now used as a museum and exhibition hall.
