One of the oldest houses of worship in the city, according to the inscription on the mosque, was built in 1748 by Erzurum governor Yazizad Haji Ibrahim Etham Pasha, one of the examples of mosques typical of Ottoman architecture with a square architecture with a single dome, it was erected of cut stone like most mosques in Medina, there is an inscription measuring 43 x 64 cm above the door of the mosque.
