The zoo, whose construction began in 1998 and opened for service in 2001, is the second largest zoo in the world and Europe. You will see 8 different species of monkeys and chimpanzees, as well as 74 different types of fish in 21 aquariums, 3 of which are marine and 18 species are freshwater. And 90 different species of birds such as nightingales, cranes, rhododendrons, storks, and wild animals such as lions, tigers, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, wolves and reptiles such as chameleons, snakes, crocodiles, and calm animals such as roe deer, fallow deer, gazelle and mountain goats.
