Built in 1909 by Mr. Bayaz Ahmed, a tobacco merchant, and converted into a museum by the municipality of Gaziantep in 2009, the museum aims to introduce the culture and history of Gaziantep; Topics such as local handicrafts, copper making, canning, dowry making, making Yemen, baklava, carpets, carpet making, entertainment, accommodation, food culture, and pistachio cultivation are explained with short promotional films and mannequins.
