It is said that the name Manavgat from (Manauwa) and in the Etruscan language means mother deities, and it is believed that the waterfall was used over several historical periods as a sacred site for the ancient Greek city (Seleukeia). The width of the waterfall is 40 meters, and its height is about two meters, but the roar of its water is very strong as it flows over a wide area and has a loud rumbling.
