Phrygian plateaus, covered with the edges of Mount Turkmen, an ancient volcano, BC. It was used as a settlement area by the Phrygians between 900-600 years ago. Painted crosses, roots, sinuous motifs, reliefs, and traces of frescoes can still be seen in churches and chapels. Mining, carpentry and weaving works produced by Phrygians were admired and imitated by the masters in the Ionian market. These include bronze plates with handles, bronze boilers, safety-spring (sliver) pins made of gold, silver and bronze, clothing belts of precious metals, buckles, rich decorative textile products, furniture items decorated with geometric patterns. It is a wonderful area covered with pine forests.
