Early booking in Uzungol around the lake or Ayder reserve may be an incorrect choice:
1 - As for Uzungol, it is a stone before Uzungol in Chaikra (18 km before Uzungol). There is accommodation in Chaikra, two hotels and small apartments, and 5 km before Uzungol, there is housing as well.
- If you want to go to Uzungol, you must look far from the lake and reserve on the nature (do not book early).
- The economical solution is to live in Trabzon and move to Uzungol in the morning and return in the evening.
2 - For the Ayder Reserve, book before the Ayder (the Shamli Hamshen area is about 20 minutes away from Ayder). There are very beautiful hotels and huts on the river, far from the crowds and less cold than the Ayder Nature Reserve.
- Book on site or call them a day before you go and make a reservation (do not book early). Prices for early reservations in the two regions in the season are very expensive.
