Baleca Cave, which was declared a nature park in 2007 with an area of 483 hectares, is the only cave in Turkey with onion stalactites. Cave is good for respiratory ailments like COPD and asthma. One of the largest and most impressive caves in the world, it was built and its surroundings with lighting systems, walking paths and viewing balconies and opened to visitors in 1996. The cave has a structure worth seeing closely with onion stalks, leeks, macaroni stalactites, columns, stalagmites, rosaries, cave pearls, cave roses, and marbles. The cave is about 680 meters long and 90 to 94 meters high; It consists of 5 floors and 9 halls. The average temperature in summer and winter in the cave is about 17-24 degrees. The humidity in it exceeds 55% on average. In addition, dwarf bats live in colonies within the cave.
