Amasya Archeology Museum, a museum repository was created by combining the artifacts collected by Sultan II, in 1925, in the two rooms of the Bayezid complex and the mummies of the Islamic era, and with the multiplication of artifacts, places were needed for display, these artifacts were transferred to a mosque Gokmidris, one of the archaeological works of the Seljuk period in 1962. The Amasya Archaeological Museum was moved to its current modern building in 1977, and all the artifacts were displayed in chronological order and opened for service in 1980.
