Kozluk Castle, one of the oldest buildings in Batman, is a very important castle built by the Persians in 416 AD, who once controlled the area. The historic castle also known as Hizu Castle, is located on a steep hill. It remained the fortress that was ruled by the Persian Empire for many years, to this day through its transfer to the hands of Islamic countries by conquest of the city.
