The ancient city of Sagalassos, one of the most visited historical places, is a very important historical heritage from the Roman era, entered the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2009, the charming city with its 5000 years history, draws attention with its carefully designed architectural structures and urban design. The earthquake that occurred in the area where the city was founded in the seventh century caused the destruction of many important structures of this wonderful city. In Sagalassos, where the excavations began in 1989 in the company of Belgian masters, the fact that they were created at an altitude of 1750 meters above sea level allowed the city to be well protected from enemy invasions. There are many structures that draw attention from the Antonine Fountain to the Roman Baths, from the theater with a capacity of 9 thousand people to the library, visited annually by more than 50 thousand tourists.
