The ancient city of Kermana, located on a steep hill with a slope around it, was founded by the people of Solimos and Psidia, according to historical sources. It is known that the Lydians took control of the city in the fourth century BC, and Alexander the Great in 330 BC. The city came under the rule of the Kingdom of Pergamon in 188 BC and was later captured by the Romans in 25 BC, who ruled for many years. The surviving artifacts from the Roman and Psidian periods have an impressive visual appearance.
