It is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and its entire structure was built of marble with the exception of the wooden roof covered with tiles. The temple took approximately 125 to 200 years to be fully completed, and the base of the main temple was rectangular in shape, and the temple was built of marble and golden, Aynean and silver ornaments, and the marble steps surrounded the platform of the temple. It was decorated with beautiful carvings, including the columns, which were unique and wonderful in shape. Inside the temple was the statue of Artemis, which scholars believe was built in its life size. The museum was considered a place of worship, where pilgrims from all over the world used to go to praise and approach him, and they would travel long distances to see him make donations, so tourism at that time was really an easy way to get rich and the main reason for it was the temple.
