1- What are the famous telecom companies in Türkiye?
There are 3 companies
Turkcell
Turk Telekom
Vodafone
And the best of them is Turkcell
It has good coverage in most regions of Türkiye.
2- Package prices?
Prices vary according to the company and the package.
There are calling packages, calling packages, Internet and Internet packages only.
3- Are there open internet SIM cards?
For the above companies, there is no, only limited data packages that are renewed after the package runs out.
However, there are other companies with a daily subscription, a Connect device with a SIM card and open internet,
with a daily price that varies from one company to another (noting that the internet is not actually open, but rather a package with a specific capacity,

All options are available to you, but if you have the device, it is better to bring it and buy the SIM card from Turkey.
6- What is required to purchase the SIM?
A passport is required with a copy of it, as the chip is registered in the name of the passport holder according to the regulations of the Turkish government.
7- The best place to buy chips?
It is preferable from the main or accredited centers and avoid street vendors so that your data is not misused (a security issue and you should beware of unauthorized vendors).
8- The working period of the mobile device brought from outside Türkiye?
The period is 120 consecutive or intermittent days, after which the device is closed, and you cannot use any Turkish SIM on it, but you can use it on your country’s SIM without any problem.
In this case, if you wish to use the closed device, you must register the device with the competent authorities in Turkey (pay tax) or buy a new device from Turkey and register it in your name.
9- How long is the SIM valid for?
It depends from one company to another, but as a minimum it is a month and extends to several months, 90 days if it is extracted by passport for tourists, and open if it is by residence, before recharging (you can check with the operating company at the time of purchase).
