Corum, as a result of archaeological studies, it was determined that the first sign of life dates back to 4000 BC. Corum is located at the transition point from the Black Sea climate to the Central Anatolian climate, and receives an average of 433 mm of precipitation throughout the year. While the temperature approaches around 20°C in July and August, it drops to an average of 0°C in January. There are 6 festivals held in the city throughout the year.
