An unusual plateau with wide meadows and aromatic mountain strawberries Haldizen Plateau, which consists of three districts, harmonizes perfectly with Uzungöl, starting in May, is also known as Demirkapi Plateau. Demirkapi Plateau, is one of the most vital points in the Black Sea. The waters coming from the glacial lakes at the summits of the Demirkapi and Karakaya Mountains formed the Haldizen creek and the waters flowing from this formation formed the Uzungol Lake.
