Zell Castle attracts many local and foreign tourists in terms of tourism, it is located on the western slopes of the Vertina Stream at an altitude of 750 meters from the sea. It is estimated that it was built during the Trabzon Empire in the 14th century, to ensure the safety of an important caravan route from the Middle Ages. The castle, which was occupied by the Ottomans after some time, continued to be used for military purposes. So much so, that the two hand balls in the castle are on display in the Trabzon Museum today. Consisting of three parts, the inner castle, outer walls, and middle walls, it has a gorgeous look on a steep rock.
