Ofit plateau, it is 2,640 meters high. It is famous for its natural streams and springs that never cool off in summer and winter. On the plateau, where the humidity is very low, a wonderful fog collapses at certain times of the day, especially in the evening. Due to this fog, the Ofit Road appears among the most dangerous roads in the world. Despite this, there are at least 100 families on the plateau that have no visitors. These homes, which are made up of local highland homes, live every summer, who come to graze their animals. Ofit Plateau festivals organized by one of the prominent families of Rize, they usually take place on the Offit Plateau in August. Approximately 300-500 thousand people attend these plateau festivals which cause a stampede every summer.
